How can I set up my LPA?
Our LPA specialists will guide you through these simple steps.
Step 1 - Tell us your requirements
A dedicated specialist will discuss your individual requirements and prepare the paperwork for you.
Step 2 - Signing your LPA application
Your LPA will need to be signed by you and the people that you have chosen to make decisions for you.
Step 3 - Your LPA is registered
We will submit your LPA to the Office of the Public Guardian, the body responsible for overseeing LPAs. Registration usually takes up to 20 weeks.
Our LPA service is provided by Age Assist Limited, part of the Age Partnership Group.
What happens to my old Power of Attorney?
If you have a previous Power of Attorney in place, your new one will not automatically replace your existing one. You should not cancel the old Power of Attorney until your new one has been registered. Once your LPA has completed we will send you all the required information and guide you through the simple process of cancelling your old one.
How much does it cost?
The fee for our service is £599 for an individual or £899 for a couple. This includes VAT and covers your registration fee to the Office of the Public Guardian and the work undertaken by us. You may also qualify for a discount, based on your annual income or if you receive certain benefits. To find out if you qualify, speak to one of our specialists today by calling Freephone 08000 810 110.
