Age Partnership adviser wins major industry award

We are delighted to share that one of our advisers, Hayley Larham, has won an award for Later Life Adviser of the Year, at the 2023 Women’s Recognition Awards.

These awards are designed to reflect the breadth of exceptional talent in the financial services industry, as well as the growing focus on the gender equality movement. Each category is searching for a nominee who has excelled in their field during the previous twelve months.

The Later Life Adviser of the Year award is awarded to a woman who has proven herself as an exceptional adviser for retirement advice clients.

Some words from Hayley…

Winning the Later Life Advisor of the Year award holds immense significance for me, both on a personal and professional level. This accolade is a culmination of years of unwavering dedication, tireless effort, and commitment to assisting individuals as they navigate their later years.

I aspire to leverage this achievement as a means to transform not only the perceptions of our clients but also those of industry peers. I firmly believe that equity release is not merely a product of last resort, but rather a valuable tool for strategic retirement planning. It’s a powerful financial instrument that deserves broader recognition and understanding.

My hope is to serve as an inspiration to other women in the field of later life advising. I want to encourage them to strive for excellence, continuously refine their skills, and fearlessly challenge the established norms. Through my recognition with this award, I aim to showcase the boundless possibilities and potential within our profession, motivating all women to pursue their aspirations and leave an indelible mark in this field.

Hayley has had an extraordinary impact on our business and the customers she serves. Her dedication to treating each customer as an individual, understanding their goals, and tirelessly working to achieve them has earned her a stellar reputation within Age Partnership in a relatively short space of time.

Not only is she an amazing and truly talented adviser, her dedication to our target market extends beyond her day job. She volunteers for Age UK as a telephone friendship volunteer and is a proud Dementia Friend through the Society of Later Life Advisors (SOLLA). Her commitment to supporting vulnerable customers is truly inspiring.

Age Partnership’s Managing Director, Jonathan Thirkill said “It’s brilliant to see Hayley win one of these truly inspirational awards. We know how amazing Hayley is, but it’s great to see this recognised externally. Congratulations Hayley!”
