Equity Release Breakfast Forum Announced
Home reversion plan broker Bridgewater Equity Release have announced that its next ‘Equity Release Broker Breakfast Forum’ will take place in Southampton on 8th September. The forum is designed to enable equity release advisers the opportunity to discuss and debate the current equity release market.
Bridgewater Equity Release’s compliance and communications manager, Alison Beeston, said: “Bridgewater holds these informal meetings to provide support and information to the broker community while at the same time they also provide us with valuable feedback on our own services and products. Feedback from all our previous events has always been positive and advisers often use the meetings to share their experience of working in the equity release sector, including marketing successes and product updates.”
The Equity Release Breakfast Forum is being held the Highfield House Hotel in Southampton, on 8th September 2009.

hi when doing your adverts for equity release wouldit not be a good idea to say what type of property is not eligable for this scheme my husband and i have a woolaway concrete panel bungalow in excellent condition with main drainage and all services standing on about 7 acres of land with the usual countryside outbuildings and we cannot get equity release although one company surveyor valued it quite high and gave it a glowing report but then his company said they dont do release on this type of property yet they still took their fees another firm said possible could do it their surveyor wasnt interested in it so we gave up –but he did back his car into telegraph pole on the way in — sorry to go on but i think it should be made clear by firms before building peoples hopes up regards mary

Hi Mary
Thanks for your question.
We’re sorry to hear about your situation.
Unfortunately there are so many lenders with different property criteria that it’s impractical to cover all these requirements on marketing literature and the website.
Our advisors are specialists in equity release and know what property types will and won’t be accepted and would fully investigate any options and explain any charges that would be applicable at the start of an enquiry.
I’d like to reassure you that Age Partnership’s fees are only payable if you chose to proceed and your equity release case completed. We also have access to exclusive and preferential plans including some that offer a free property valuation.
Should you wish to contact us in the future please call us on freephone 08080 10 10 10, or via our website http://www.agepartnership.co.uk by requesting a callback or fill in your details to receive our brochure by post.
Kind Regards,
The Age Partnership Team
