Here's a short update before you head away for the bank holiday.
It's the perennial question for anyone who likes a caravan holiday – do I hitch one onto the back of the car and go touring, or do I invest in a static version?
Well, according to the National Caravan Council, a static caravan could be much better value for money than you think.
Spokeswoman Louise Wood explains that a typical holiday caravan could cost around £25,000 to £35,000 new.
But that would accommodate up to eight people and allow you to stay on the park for ten or 15 years at any time of the year you please – perfect for getting all the family together.
And she sayst that "some retired owners like to spend the entire summer at their caravan", which is "considerably cheaper than paying for a hotel for months".
Wherever you plan to spend it, have a great bank holiday weekend.
