Pension confusion leads to equity release?

More people could look into equity release schemes after the election threw up confusion over the future of pensions.

Although they don't currently have a majority, as the party with the most seats it is expected that the Conservatives will seek to form a government, but Nigel Waterson, the man who served as Shadow Pensions Minister, lost his seat in the election.

There are fears that the loss of Mr Waterson will mark a change in Tory pension policy and make equity release a greater necessity for homeowners.

This will be especially true if David Willetts takes the position, who accuses the babyboomer generation of robbing from their children in a recently-published book.ADNFCR-3040-ID-19766303-ADNFCR
