More people are seeking help about what colour to dye their hair than are finding out about equity release schemes, new research has shown.

The figures from unbiased.co.uk shows that nearly four people in ten (38 per cent) seek expert advice about their hair, compared to just one person in five who go to professionals to discuss retirement plans, like equity release.

It also appears that the older generation is largely responsible – only one person in seven (14 per cent) aged in their 50s or 60s said they were seeking retirement help, compared to nearly a third (29 per cent) of people in their 20s and 30s.

Karen Barrett from unbiased.co.uk urges people to consider seeing professionals about equity release schemes and other retirement solutions, as it's an "invaluable step" towards making sure you can meet your financial commitments in the future.ADNFCR-3040-ID-19797376-ADNFCR
