Equity release solutions available online

The older generation are missing out on financial advice and equity release help by not seeking solutions online.

The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) have announced their concern at the lack of older people trying to remedy their debt via the internet.

Their figures show that only 3 per cent of their users are 60 or over.

If more older people could be encouraged to go online, they could use an online equity release calendar to work out how much money they could extract from their house.

Whilst equity release can be used as a debt remedy, it can also be used to buy things which can enhance a person's retirement, such as a cruise or fitting a new kitchen into their home.
