Age Partnership - your Lifetime Mortgage Advisor

Age Partnership recommends different types of equity release plans to people over 55 and thanks to our commitment to customer service we've become one of the UK's leading equity release advisors - something we are very proud of. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your options with you any time - that's why our phone lines are open 24 hours a day!

There are three main types of equity release including Lifetime Mortgage, Drawdown Lifetime Mortgage and Home Reversion Plans. Each contains a few different elements to consider. The most popular is a Lifetime Mortgage and so our team is well versed on the details of the various plans available and that's why we've become one of the UK's fastest-growing equity release advisors.

Lifetime mortgages explained

The two types of lifetime mortgage vary slightly. A lifetime mortgage lets you release a tax-free lump sum of cash (equity) from the value of your home as long as you are over 55 and own your home. The amount released as well as any interest you've accrued is repaid out of your estate when you die or move into long-term care. A drawdown lifetime mortgage is a little bit more flexible as it allows you to release your equity gradually, as and when required over a period of time.

We are an independent equity release specialist advisor the majority of the plans we recommend follow SHIP's (Safe Home Income Plans) Code of Practice.

In addition, the equity release market is regulated by the FSA (Financial Services Authority) which governs how lifetime mortgage providers conduct their business to make sure you get a fair deal.

We don't expect our customers to know all there is to know about lifetime mortgages so we encourage them to call us to find out more. As one of the UK's leading equity release advisors, we offer a no obligation quote and are on hand to answer all your equity release questions.
